Quality Assurance Manager
Desired experience with US Government contract requirements for drawings, manuals, material documentation, and component inspection related to mechanical design and manufacturing.
Government Procurment Specialist
Desired experience procuring engineering projects through US Government contracts. Requires the ability to provide estimates of labor and cost as well as summary of terms and conditions for management review.
Custom Electric Motor Salesperson
Outside salesperson with experience in AC motor sales, to cover the greater northwest United States area. Position requires a self-starter with the ability to independently seek out and capitalize on sales leads.
Project Manager
Self-starter with working knowledge of Microsoft Project to direct and track project labor and spending for multiple mechanical design and manufacturing projects.
Mechanical Designer
Self-starter to model parts, create drawings and check prints prior to their release. Requires a minimum of 2 years experience working with SolidWorks or ProEngineer design software. Applicants should possess a high level of aptitude and experience regarding machine manufacturing processes and tolerances.
Mechanical Engineer
Self-starter to design and build high performance electric motor test stand systems for industrial, automotive, and aerospace applications. Requires a minimum of 2 years experience working with SolidWorks or ProEngineer design software and Microsoft project. should possess a high level of aptitude and experience regarding machine design/analysis, manufacturing processes, and tolerances. This position demands the ability to effectively work on multiple design projects simultaneously.
Control and Data Acquisition System Designer
Desired experience in dynamometer and test stand control system design, including a background in AC motor controls and LabVIEW or equivalent data acquisition software. Applicant should be familiar with PLC programming, data acquisition and processing, networking of computers and PLCs, schematic design, and control panel layout. Requires good verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively without supervision.

Burgi Engineers is centrally located in the beautiful Flathead Valley of northwestern Montana.
