Variable Frequency Drives
All of our motor systems can be equipped with a variable frequency drive (VFD). These drives allow electric motors to provide a specific torque to speed profile and facilitate variable speed control. Very precise control of speed is possible with closed loop operation. Motor torque can be closely controlled by some drives without torque transducer feedback. Integration with shaft torque transducer feedback allows for more accurate control of torque in precise applications. Utilizing the proper control methods and low inertia motors allows the motor system to generate real world loads and load profiles both driving and absorbing.
