Water Cooled / Air-Oil Lubricated
This motor is capable of generating up to 200 HP, 420 ft-lbs of torque, and rotating at speeds up to 12,000 rpm (see below for specific power-speed and torque-speed curves). At these performance levels the motor can be effectively cooled by circulating chilled water through the motor casing. If a sufficiently cold water source is unavailable a chiller can be provided. To facilitate the the higher speed capabilites of this product, the motor is sold as part of a packaged system which includes specialized air-oil lubrication apparatus to ensure proper bearing lubrication.
